  • CIF (Customer Identification Number)
  • Branch Code

  • A valid mobile phone number
  • Required Facility

Now type the captcha code and hit the “Submit” button.

  • Step 5: After completing your account information, you will be sent an OTP (one-time password) to the phone number you provided. Click the “Confirm” tab after entering the OTP.

  • 6th step:On the next screen, you have two choices:

a) “I have my ATM Card (online registration without branch visit)” and

b)” I do not have my ATM Card (Activation by branch only)”.

If you have an ATM card, choose the first option and click the “Submit” tab. SBI online services will be activated by the branch if you do not have an ATM card.

  • 7th step: You can finish your registration and activate SBI Internet banking services for your account using your ATM card on the next screen.
  • Step 8: Your temporary username will appear on the next screen. Make a note of your username. You must create your login password here. It’s important to note that it should be 8 characters long, use upper and lower case alphabets, and include at least one number and one special character. Retype your password and hit the “Submit” button.

  • Step 9: You have successfully registered for SBI online personal banking. Now go to the login page and use the temporary username and password to access SBI Internet banking services.
  • Step 10:To override the temporary username, go to the next screen and create a user ID of your choice. For State Bank of India Net banking, you must additionally create a login password and a profile password. The login password should be at least 8 characters long and contain a combination of alphabets, numbers, and special characters.
